Swedish Massage
The term "Swedish Massage" refers to a selection of techniques specifically createded to relax muscles by applying pressure to them against deeper muscles and bones, and rubbing in the same direction as the flow of blood returning to the heart.

Swedish massage shortens recovery time from injury by flushing the tissues of lactic acid, uric acid, and other metabolic wastes. It increases circulation without raising heart bit. Swedish massage reduces the emotional stress as well as the physical one, and is suggested in a treatment program for general stress management. It also has many specific medical uses.
Generally considered as the most common type of massage, Swedish massage involves an extensive mixture of strokes and keeps focus on the muscles and connective tissues of the body for enhanced circulation, pain relief, relaxation, and overall health maintenance and well being.

Sport / Deep-Tissue Massage
Sports Massage is a special form of a therapeutic massage and is usually used before, during, and after athletic performance. The idea of the treatment is to get the athletes’ body ready for dtmthe sport event or training, to relieve swelling, to drain away fatigue, to promote flexibility, to reduce muscle tension, and eventually to enhance the performance.
Deep Tissue/Sport Massage is a type of the treatment that focuses on the deeper layers of muscle mass. It aims to release the chronic tension in the body through slow strokes and deep specific pressure on the contracted areas, either following or going across the fibers of the muscles, tendons and fascia.
Deep Tissue/Sport Massage is also beneficial for breaking up and softening scar tissue. This type of a treatment usually focuses on more specific areas and may cause some soreness during or after the massage. However, if the treatment applied properly, client should feel better than ever within a few days.

Taking a hot bath along with drinking more water will be very much recommended for the client within a few hours after the massage therapy session took place.
